Film Negative Necklace: Feasibility?

Cute idea & I bet these would sell, but just the thought of that film edge rubbing against my skin is making me itch. Also those squares are so lightweight, the piece is bound to slide in all directions. I’m thinking it definitely needs to be encased in resin or mounted on a more substantial backing to really be a feasible piece.

Cubist Blues Necklace

I love the color of these blue quartz beads so much I couldn’t bear do anything to take away from them. Too simple?

Funky vintage black and white plastic beads hang at random from a large link gunmetal finish cable chain for a contemporary tribal look especially powerful on summer’s bright solids. Closes with gunmetal finish s hook.

Finally found a use for that carbon paper

Making cards to go with the pieces for the yoga studio. I’m thinking a little watercolor and writing ink to make each little slip of cardstock its own work of art. 🙂

Who’s the Dummy?

Hmmm… I don’t think I’ve ever seen a woman ventriloquist before.

The one of the evangilists gets my vote for creepiest.

good advice from Etsy seller Virginia Evans

What is one tip you could share about selling you work on Etsy ?

Photograph your product as cleanly and as sharply as possible. Keep the image light and fresh on a pale background. Nothing deters a buyer from a product more than the idea that the object will be heavy and burdensome.

Timon of Athens at Shakespeare NJ

Not only are they doing a Shakespeare work I haven’t ever seen before, it’s been staged in a style they’re calling ‘dark vaudeville.” OMG. Who’s going with me? We’ve got until July 24.

Edith Piaf in Drag in GPhilly

There is something about a tall man with hairy legs, in a black dress, and singing French love songs that captures the beautiful contradiction of Edith Piaf’s life and music.
